Breakfast Bundt Cake

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix with pudding in mix
  • 3/4 c. corn oil
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. butter extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    First, grease inside of Bundt pan with Crisco and sprinkle some ground nuts on the inside of pan, not too close to edge of pan.

    Combine cake mix, corn oil and water. Mix well, adding eggs one at a time and mix well after each egg.

    Beat high speed, 6 to 8 minutes.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon butter extract near end of beating time.

    Layer batter and nut mixture 3 times, batter on top.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Remove and cool on rack for 8 minutes.

    Remove from pan and glaze while still warm. Use all the glaze and apply with pastry brush.
