Ingredients
- 8 slices bread, cubed and crusts removed
- 1 lb. pork sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained
- 1 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sauteed
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can milk
- 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Directions

1Mix bread crumbs with margarine.

2Place bread cubes in an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.

3Add sausage, mushrooms and cheese.

4Mix eggs, 2 1/2 cups milk and mustard.

5Pour over ingredients in casserole. Refrigerate overnight.

6The next day, bring to room temperature. Mix soup with 1/2 can milk.

7Pour over casserole.

8Cover with crumbs.

9Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 75 minutes.

10Makes 10 to 12 servings.
