  • 1 lb. sausage (regular or hot)
  • 6 slices bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground mustard (optional)
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Crumble bread in bottom of an 11 x 9-inch greased pan.

    Fry and drain sausage.

    Beat eggs, milk, ground mustard, salt and pepper together, then add grated cheese.

    Pour over bread and sausage.

    Cover and put in the refrigerator overnight.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
