  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 slices bread
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded cheese

    Brown sausage in skillet and drain.

    Combine half and half, eggs and salt.

    Mix well.

    Layer bread, sausage and cheese in a 10 x 15-inch baking dish.

    Pour egg mixture over layers. Chill overnight, covered.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 12.
