- 6 slices bread
- butter
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Grease a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish.

2Remove crust from bread and lightly spread with butter.

3Line casserole dish with bread. Cook and drain sausage; spoon sausage over bread and sprinkle cheese over sausage.

4Mix egg, milk and salt.

5Pour over cheese. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.

6Remove 15 minutes before cooking.

7Cook for 50 minutes at 350°.

8Serves 6 to 8.
