Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 3 c. milk
  • 9 raw eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 3 slices stale bread, broken into small pieces
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine and mix together all the ingredients.

    Pour into well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Refrigerate overnight. (Good for Christmas Eve.)

    Set out casserole at room temperature 1 hour before baking.

    (I don't always do this.)

    Bake in 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until firm and brown.
