  • 10 slices white bread, crust cut off
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 lb. hot sausage, browned and drained
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. sharp cheese, grated

Directions

    Butter bread after crust has been removed. Cut up into 2-inch pieces. Butter bottom of a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish. Place bread in dish. Mix eggs and drained sausage together. Add milk and cheese. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Cook at 350° for 30 minutes, covered with foil. Remove foil and cook 15 minutes, uncovered.
