Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1/4 lb. grated cheese
  • 4 slices bread, cubed
  • 2 c. milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Saute sausage and drain.

    Put sausage in 9 x 13-inch baking dish to cover bottom.

    Sprinkle bread cubes on top of sausage. Mix eggs, dry mustard, salt, baking powder and milk (stirring together well).

    Pour egg mixture over sausage and bread.

    Cover top with grated cheese.

    Let sit overnight in refrigerator.

    Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
