- 6 slices bread (any type)
- 1 lb. sausage or beef
- 6 oz. shredded Longhorn cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. half and half
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Butter both sides of bread and place in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan or glass casserole dish.

2Brown sausage and drain.

3Spoon sausage over bread and sprinkle cheese over top.

4Combine eggs, half and half and salt.

5Mix well and pour over cheese.

6Cover and chill overnight.

7Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 350°.
