Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • bread
  • dry parsley
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. meat (ham, sausage or bacon), browned and drained
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • cornflakes

Directions

    Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

    Layer bread slices to completely cover bottom of pan.

    Layer meat, cheese and sprinkle parsley.

    Cover completely with another layer of bread.

    Combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt.

    Pour over bread and meat layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Crush cornflakes and spread over top of casserole.

    Melt margarine and drizzle over top.

    Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
