- 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. toasted sesame seed
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped dry roasted unsalted peanuts
- 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 2 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. unsalted sunflower seeds
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 1/2 mashed banana
Directions

1Stir the flour, oatmeal, sesame seed, wheat germ, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl until blended.

2Add the peanuts, walnuts, raisins, dates and sunflower seeds; stir to coat.

3Beat the oil, maple syrup, egg and banana together.

4Fold into the dry ingredients until blended.

5Drop by rounded 1/4 cupfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.

6Bake until bottoms are golden, 15 to 18 minutes.

7Makes about 20 cookies.
