- butter
- 8 slices bread, crusts removed
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli
- 4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. chopped ham
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cut bread in halves and butter one side.

2Butter pan and arrange five slices of bread in bottom, butter side down.

3Cook and drain broccoli.

4Put drained broccoli on top of bread.

5Cover with grated cheese; add chopped ham.

6Top with other 3 slices of bread, butter side up.

7Combine eggs, salt and milk.

8Pour over bread.

9May be refrigerated overnight or let sit at least 1 hour. Bake 1 hour at 350° in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

10Serves 10 (conservatively).
