- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Mix shortening, sugar and egg.

3Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with milk.

4Fill muffin tins 2/3 full.

5Bake 20 to 25 minutes.

6Mix sugar and cinnamon.

7After baking, roll in melted margarine and then in cinnamon-sugar.
