Broccoli and Two Cheese Casserole

  • 3 cups broccoli florets, fresh
  • 12 cup chicken broth
  • 12 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated (please use freshly grated)
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 12 teaspoon white pepper
  • 12 cup French-fried onions (or more)

Directions

    Steam broccoli for 5 minutes with 3 tablespoons water in microwave on high.

    Drain broccoli and place in a medium sized casserole.

    In a small saucepan, mix chicken broth, evaporated milk, bleu cheese, parmesan cheese, sour cream and white pepper.

    Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted and sauce is thickened.

    Pour sauce over steamed broccoli.

    Top with French-Fried Onions.

    Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until sauce is bubbly and onions are golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
