Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. broccoli, cut into 2-inch pieces and steamed for 6 minutes
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. nonfat cottage cheese
  • 1/3 c. green onion, chopped
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 c. butter or margarine
  • 2/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • diced canned green chilies to taste

Directions

    Place cooked broccoli in greased 11 x 7 x 2-inch dish.

    In a large bowl, combine eggs and cottage cheese; mix well.

    Add remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and butter.

    Mix well and pour over broccoli.

    Melt butter; add bread crumbs.

    Stir to coat. Pour over top.

    Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

    Cool 5 minutes before serving.
