Ingredients
- 2 lb. broccoli, cut into 2-inch pieces and steamed for 6 minutes
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. nonfat cottage cheese
- 1/3 c. green onion, chopped
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/8 c. butter or margarine
- 2/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- diced canned green chilies to taste
Directions

1Place cooked broccoli in greased 11 x 7 x 2-inch dish.

2In a large bowl, combine eggs and cottage cheese; mix well.

3Add remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and butter.

4Mix well and pour over broccoli.

5Melt butter; add bread crumbs.

6Stir to coat. Pour over top.

7Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

8Cool 5 minutes before serving.

9Serves 6 to 8.
