Broccoli Casserole

  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar pasteurized cheese spread
  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and well drained
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. soda crackers, crumbled

    Saute onions in 4 tablespoons of margarine until soft.

    Stir in flour.

    Add water.

    Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

    Blend in cheese.

    Combine sauce and broccoli.

    Add eggs.

    Mix gently until blended.
