Broccoli Casserole

  • 2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen chopped broccoli or fresh (1 1/2 lb.)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, firm

Directions

    Cook broccoli in 1 inch water until tender.

    Place in 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

    (Do not grease.)

    Beat soup and milk together, pour over broccoli.

    Sprinkle with cheese.

    Mix baking mix with firm butter until crumbly.

    Sprinkle over cheese.

    Bake until light brown, about 20 minutes in 400° oven.

    You can add onions, if desired.
