Broccoli Crescents

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chipped broccoli, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 c. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 3 crispy cooked bacon slices, crumbled
  • 2 or 3 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated crescent rolls

    Combine broccoli, Velveeta cubes, bread crumbs and bacon in 1 1/2-quart saucepan.

    Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted.

    Unroll dough.

    Separate into 16 triangles.

    Cut each in half lengthwise, forming 32 triangles. Spread each triangle with cheese mixture.

    Roll up, starting at wide end.

    Place on greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 375° for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
