Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
- 1 c. real butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 rolls garlic cheese, cut into chunks
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook broccoli according to directions and drain.

2Saute onions in butter.

3Add all ingredients except mushrooms and water chestnuts.

4Simmer on low heat until cheese is melted.

5Add mushrooms and chestnuts.

6Serve in chafing dish with Fritos or crackers.

7May be turned into casserole by putting broccoli mixture into casserole dish, topping with buttered bread or cracker crumbs and baked until bubbly.
