Broccoli Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained (save stock)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 18 oz. American cheese, cut into cubes
  • 4 or 5 jalapenos, chopped (for extra spice)
  • 2 pkg. chopped broccoli (frozen)

Directions

    Saute onion and celery in butter for 5 minutes.

    Add mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup.

    Add American cheese (or 9 ounces American cheese and 9 ounces Velveeta for smoother consistency). Add jalapenos and broccoli.

    Heat thoroughly until all cheese is melted and broccoli is tender.

    Serve with tortilla chips.
