Broccoli-Nut Casserole

- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 c. chopped peanuts or cashews
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 medium onion, chopped, or 1 1/2 tsp. dehydrated
- 1 c. grated sharp cheese
- 1/3 stick butter or margarine
- 2 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain.

2Combine broccoli with the soup, mayonnaise and nuts.

3Add the eggs and onion and blend well.

4Spoon mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.

5Sprinkle the cheese on top.

6Melt the butter or margarine and toss with the bread crumbs.

7Scatter over top of cheese.

8Place in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

9Serves 6 to 8.
