- 3 c. milk
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt (dry).

2Add a little milk to mix.

3Add beaten egg yolks.

4Leave rest of milk come to a boil. Mix hot milk into cornstarch mixture by tablespoon until mixture is warm.

5Stir mixture into hot milk.

6Cook until thick; turn off burner.

7Add coconut and vanilla.

8Pour into baked crust.

9Use whites of eggs for meringue and brown.
