Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. Kraft chicken flavored base or 6 bouillon cubes
  • 8 oz. pkg. egg flake noodles
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli
  • 6 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 5 c. water

Directions

    Saute oleo and onions.

    Add water and noodles; bring to a boil.

    Add broccoli and garlic powder.

    Cook until noodles and broccoli are done, about 15 minutes.

    Cool and add milk and cheese.

    Return to burner and stir until cheese is melted.

    Cook on low until ready to serve.
