- 2 lb. broccoli
- 1/2 lb. oleo
- 1 c. flour
- 1 qt. chicken stock and 3 or 4 chicken cubes
- 1 qt. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cut broccoli in small pieces.

2Put in pan with 1 cup water and steam until tender.

3Do not drain.

4Set aside.

5Take oleo and melt.

6Stir flour into oleo; cook 2 to 4 minutes.

7Stir constantly.

8Add chicken stalk; bring to boil.

9Add broccoli and half and half and mix together.

10Heat, but do not boil.
