Broccoli Spinach Soup

- 6 c. water
- 6 vegetable or chicken bouillon cubes
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 carrot, pared and sliced
- 1 rib celery, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Heat water to boiling and add bouillon.

2Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

3Transfer to blender or food processor and puree until smooth (in several portions, if necessary).

4Reheat if necessary or serve at room temperature. Makes 6 servings at 40 calories each.
