Broiled Steak Recipe

  • 1/4 c. Red wine vinegar
  • 4 x Beef Tablespoons-bone (or possibly porterhouse) steaks (about 3 lbs.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Veg. oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dry sweet basil,crushed

Directions

    Brush vinegar on both sides of each steak.

    Brush with veg.

    oil.

    Arrange on broiler tray.

    Mix salt, pepper and basil in small c.. Sprinkle 1/2 over steaks.

    Broil for 5 min.

    Turn steaks over.

    Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 of seasoning.

    Broil for 5 min till desired degree of doneness.
