  • 1-1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Nuts
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 3 whole Apples, Chopped
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar

Directions

    Prepare the cake by mixing oil, granulated sugar, and eggs. Combine with dry ingredients. Add nuts, vanilla, and apples. Bake in a 9x13 pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.

    Make the glaze by melting butter in small saucepan. Whisk in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil and let boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Pour over the warm cake.
