  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • nuts if desired

Directions

    Add sugar to the eggs; mix well.

    Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar and eggs.

    Also add balance of ingredients except the nuts.

    Mix just enough to blend thoroughly.

    Add the nuts.

    Bake for 20 minutes at 350° (325° for glass pan) in greased pan.

    Cut when slightly cool.
