   Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

   Add flour and salt. Shape into 1-inch balls.

   Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

   Make thumbprint in center.

   Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in a 375° oven. When cool, fill thumbprint hole with the following frosting.
