  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. consomme soup (canned or use bouillon)
  • 1 c. onion soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • chicken pieces (example: 2 breasts, 2 leg quarters)

Directions

    Brown rice in margarine in skillet.

    Add soups to rice and mushrooms.

    Brown chicken pieces in a separate pan.

    Place rice in oven-proof dish and top with chicken pieces.

    Cover.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
