- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Beat egg whites until stiff.

2Add cream of tartar and beat to make egg whites dry.

3Add brown sugar and beat until well blended. Fold in pecans and drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 200° for 2 hours.

4Check after 1 1/2 hours.

5They should be colored, but not brown.

6Store in airtight container.
