  • 1 c. rice
  • 4 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can consomme and water to make 2 c.
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup

Directions

    Brown rice in oil with celery and green pepper.

    Add consomme, Worcestershire and catsup.
  3. 3
    Place in a baking dish and bake at 350° until rice is tender, or cover and finish cooking on top of the stove, 15 minutes at a low flame until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
