- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 large eggs
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- about 40 walnut halves
Directions

1Melt butter and chocolate in two or 3-quart pan over lowest heat until melted.

2Remove pan and stir in sugar and vanilla.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

4Stir in flour. Spoon into paper lined tiny muffin tins, filling almost to top. Place nut on top of batter.

5Bake at 325° until tops look dry and feel firm when touched, about 20 minutes.

6Let cool in pan 10 minutes.

7Transfer to rack to cool.

8Serve warm or cool.

9To store, let cool, then package airtight and hold room temperature up to 4 days.
