  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 8 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. can unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 c. shortening

Directions

    Mix together, cutting shortening, and store in airtight container.

    To make brownies, combine 2 1/2 cup brownie mix with 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup nuts.

    Bake in greased and floured 8-inch pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
