  • 2 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 2/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Calumet baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

    Melt chocolate and butter.

    Mix flour with baking powder and salt.

    Beat eggs well; gradually beat in sugar.

    Blend in chocolate and vanilla.

    Mix in flour mixture.

    Spread in greased 8-inch square pan.
