  • 2 sticks butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and other ingredients.

    Fold in pecans last.

    Cook in greased Pyrex pan (9 x 12-inch) or larger pan at 350° for approximately 45 minutes or until done.

    With a fine straw or toothpick, punch in top of brownies.

    Cover brownies with a cloth when you take them out of the oven.
