- 5 to 6 lb. hen
- 2 lb. cubed lean pork
- 6 medium onions
- 6 medium potatoes
- 3 large cans tomatoes
- 2 cans tiny lima beans
- 2 cans Shoe Peg corn
- 3 or more Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil hen until very tender.

2Skin and bone.

3Skim most of grease off liquid, then cook pork and onion in it.

4Meanwhile, cook cut up potatoes and tomatoes together, being careful not to let potatoes scorch.

5When all done, combine all ingredients together in large pot.

6Season with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

7Allow to simmer gently for several hours until the consistency of thick soup.

8Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.

9Freezes well.
