  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

    Remove the outer wilted leaves from sprouts; trim stems.

    In a medium saucepan, combine sprouts and water.

    Bring to boiling over high heat; reduce to low and steam 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.
