- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 sq. butter
- 4 1/2 c. flour, sifted
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Scald and cool the milk, shortening and sugar.

2Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

3Add eggs, then work in flour and salt. Let rise until double in bulk.

4Knead down; let stand 10 minutes. Break off dough in balls about the size of walnuts.

5Dip in a mixture of the sugar, cinnamon and butter (melted).

6Drop in angel food pan; let rise.

7Bake at 350° for 40 or 50 minutes.

8Let cool in pan.
