  • 1 large onion grated
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 lb. ground lean beef or turkey
  • 1 (12 oz.) Heinz chili sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) grape jelly
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Grate onion and mix with beef, egg, salt and pepper.

    Form balls about 1-inch in diameter.

    In a large saucepan, mix chili sauce, grape jelly and lemon juice.

    Bring to a boil; drop meatballs and reduce heat.

    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
