- 2 bags frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Combine potatoes and 1/2 cup of butter with other ingredients; pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

2Top with crushed corn flakes and butter (use 1 1/2 cups of flakes and 1/4 cup butter).

3Bake at 300° for 1 or 1 1/2 hours.
