  • 2 bags frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Combine potatoes and 1/2 cup of butter with other ingredients; pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

    Top with crushed corn flakes and butter (use 1 1/2 cups of flakes and 1/4 cup butter).

    Bake at 300° for 1 or 1 1/2 hours.
