  • 2 lb. flank steak *
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 5 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 5 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seed, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. crushed black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 3 Tbsp. diagonally sliced scallions (optional)

Directions

    Slice steak across the grain in very thin slices, no more than 1/4-inch thick.

    In a small bowl, combine rest of ingredients, except scallions, to make marinade; mix well.

    Pour marinade over steak, coating well.

    Let stand in refrigerator, covered, about 2 hours.
