- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cake yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
Directions

1Scald milk, add sugar, salt and shortening.

2Cool until lukewarm.

3Pour in large bowl.

4Mix 2 cups flour into smooth paste. Add eggs and mix well, then add yeast and mix well.

5Add rest of flour (2 1/2 cups).

6Knead.

7Put in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk.

8Make into buns and let rise.
-
9Bake at 350° about 15 minutes, until golden brown.
