- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 4 English muffins, split
- 1 slice white bread
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 4 oz. pkg. Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1About 40 minutes before serving prepare spinach as label directs; drain well.

2Toast English muffins; keep warm.

3Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs.

4Into bowl tear bread into small pieces; add spinach, ground beef, egg, salt and onion.

5Mix well. Shape mixture into four 1-inch thick round patties.

6Place patties on rack in broiling pan.

7Broil patties about 5 minutes on each side for medium or until of desired doneness.

8Just before patties are done, cut Mozzarella cheese into 4 slices.

9Top each meat patty with a cheese slice; broil 1 minute longer or until cheese melts.

10Serves 4.
