Burger Noodle Bake

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 or 3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. wide noodles
  • cornflake crumbs

Directions

    Brown meat lightly in skillet.

    Drain off fat.

    Add onion; cook until tender (not brown).

    Add soup, cheese, sugar and seasoning.

    Simmer uncovered 15 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.

    Cook noodles in separate pot.

    When done, add drained noodles to sauce. Combine then turn into a 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch casserole. Sprinkle cornflake crumbs and butter on top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
