  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 c. Contadina seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. dry Carnation nonfat dry milk, plus water to make 1 c. liquid
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. (8 oz. can) Contadina pizza sauce
  • 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • pizza toppers: green peppers, mushrooms, olives and onions

    Combine ground chuck, bread crumbs, liquid nonfat dry milk, onion, egg and salt.

    Mix lightly but thoroughly.

    Press on 12-inch pizza pan.

    Form 1/2-inch rim around edge.

    Spread pizza sauce over meat mixture.

    Sprinkle with cheeses and choice of pizza toppers. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Drain off fat. Cut into wedges.

    Makes 1 (12-inch) pizza.
