- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 large onion - cut into thin wedges
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 clove garlic , crushed
- 2 tsp crushed fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp ground red chilli pepper
- 1 tsp Corainder powder
- 500 grams Chicken
- 1/4 cup ground almonds
- 225 grams peeled whole tomatoes (with juice)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 cup natural yoghurt
Directions

1In a large pan, heat the butter until it's frothy

2Add the onions & the cinnamon to the pan & fry lightly

3When the onions are soft,stir in the garlic & ginger..then add the turmeric,chilli & corainder.Saute over a medium heat

4Add the chicken & saute stirring constantly until the chicken meat turns white

5Add the ground almonds,tomatoes & tomato paste

6Mix thoroughly,cover & shimmer for 20-30 minutes

7Add the yoghurt & heat through gently before serving
