  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

    Cream together the oleo, sugar and eggs.

    Gradually add the flour, baking soda, vanilla, salt and cream of tartar.

    Chill. Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters.

    Bake at 400° (350° to 375° for electric oven) for 6 to 8 minutes.
