- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 4 oz. milk chocolate
Directions

1Melt butter over low heat.

2Remove from heat.

3Add sugar. Return to heat and wait for sugar and butter to bubble.

4Add water and syrup.

5Mix well.

6Cook over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes (hard crack stage).

7Remove from heat.

8Add nuts.

9Pour on lightly greased baking sheet.

10Spread to 1/4-inch thick.

11Spread melted chocolate over the top of the crunch as it begins to harden. Sprinkle nuts over chocolate, if desired.
