- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 2 egg whites
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar and milk in large saucepan; stir well. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil until soft ball stage. Stir constantly.

2Remove from heat.

3Beat egg whites at room temperature until stiff peaks form.

4Continue to beat while slowly adding hot mixture.

5Beat until mixture cools and thickens.
